MySQL Datasource - Password must be saved

Hi!

I am using the experimental MySQL-Datasource. That is only possible, if I save the password.

Without a saved password, there is a message on saving the datasource itself:

Authentification to host ... for user ... using method ...... failed. Continue?

I i chose "yes", I get "Unable to Connect to your Data Source"

Is there any possibility to be asked for the password on connecting to the Datasource?
