Subject:remove domain name from AD authentication

Hi, I have AD authentication working to access RDMS (1.1.3.0), however i need to type in the domain name and users name in the username section (domain\username) when it prompts me to access the RDM. Is there a way that we can remove the requirement to enter the domain name and only enter the AD username and password?

I have added a feature request for that. This should not be hard to add

Do you have an update on this issue as well? This was another item that members of our team were struggling with when commissioning accounts.

Hi,

One very minor thing i noticed here a couple weeks back. Can RDMS look for all of the below and consolidate them into a single user account?

Username
[NETBIOS DOMAIN]\Username (eg. domain\user)
[FQDN]\Username (eg. domain.local\user)
Username@FQDN (eg. user@domain.com)

I'm trying to remember, but I believe the username@FQDN it actually recognizes as valid credentials, but then creates a wholly separate account for it.

I think that you're right. I have entered a bug for that.
