Possible Calendar or Reminder Feature

I would like to for PVM to have some sort of ability to provide a pop-up box similar to a new version update that would show a reminder. What I was thinking was to add an entry for a software purchase name, url, serial, etc. which is already available in PVM however I would like to eliminate using Outlook for a reminder to let me know when the software is up for a renewal. If I can eliminate Outlook and add an entry into PVM set it for a week before a year then I would know I need to renew.
The above can also be useful in RDM as I believe I read that PVM is included in RDM Enterprise?

It's already possible to set an expiration. I want to improve this feature and perhaps create a notification dashboard

David, any progress on the notification dashboard or is it still on the list for future update of RDM?
The notification dashboard is already implemented in our internal build. This will be in the next major version beta (in about a month)
