Hi,
I've setup Azure SQL and I can connect fine from both Windows and Apple IOS. I turn the auditing feature on to enable Advanced threat protection. After the change I successfully connected using my Windows PC, but not via the Apple IOS app. For client that doesn't support redirect (which i suspect the Apple IOS client doesn't), we can set the server to be <DB Server name>.database.SECURE.windows.net (as per https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/sql-database-auditing-and-dynamic-data-masking-downlevel-clients/), but even with the change I continue to get the error Unable to connect to the server!. Timeout expired.....
Any ideas?
Michael
Hi,
I've been able to reproduce your issue. We're going to investigate deeper to see what we can do about it.

We have the same issue and would love to have this work on our Android.
Hi,
The framework that we use doesn't currently support this feature.
