SQL DB not showing cached offline DB

I have noticed this problem recently. When using the PVM iPhone app version 1.2, and when we go into offline mode, it will not load the local DB cache at all. It will just show an image stating "Not Connected!"

I believe this worked before but can't say for certain. Here are details and settings:

Our DB settings are set to allow offline mode for 30 days.
Offline mode works on our mobile laptops.
I have tried it with and without Auto go offline
Caching Mode is set to Intelligent
Offline mode is set to read only
We are using the thumb authentication when opening the app
Tried analyzing and repairing the data source cache on the iPhone app

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is slowing us down greatly in the field.
