Hi,
Encrypted connections.xml created and edited using free version of PVM in Windows is compatible with Android PVM. However once the XML has been modified on Android, the same XLM could not be opened/read on Windows PVM. An error appeared when opening the data source - "The entered master key is invlaid! Length of the data to decrypt is invalid."
Is it to be expected?

Sung
PS: Just noticed, I meant to publish this in the Help section.
Hi,
This is not expected and we haven't reproduced that yet. I will assign this to our team. Are you still able to open the file on Android or it get corrupted on this device as well?
David Hervieux
Hi David,
Thanks for the prompt reply.
I could still be able to open on Android. Just to clarify, I'm using the data source in Dropbox on Android. But I have to copy the XML to Windows since the free version of PVM does not support Dropbox.

Could you try a PVM Enterprise with a Trial to see if it works?
David Hervieux
OK. I've discovered the possible cause.
I was using the Dropbox session in RDM for downloading the encrypted XML file. After tested with the trial version of Enterprise PVM successfully, I then downloaded the same file using the browser (Microsoft Edge in this case) to the location where I was having issues with. Free PVM also opened and read the encrypted data source without issues.
The only conclusion I could draw from this is that the encrypted XML was, somehow , corrupted during the download process in RDM (v11.1.8.0)

Sung.
Hello,
Thank you for the information.
Maybe you can try our Devolutions Online Drive data source. This seem to be an ideal data source in your situation.
