Dear Team,
I work with RDM 9.2.10.0 and PVM 5.1.2.0 with a SQL Database.
When user clic-on a connexion listed in RDM, PVM database start and user is able to list all password.
Users have access as "view" in PVM, if I deselect this right, the user has an error in RDM and can not initiate connection.
My question is: it’s possible to hide the password database for user, when PVM is linked with RDM ?
Best regards,
Stéphane
Hi,
I see what you mean. Usually you could save your credential in RDM directly and revoke the Reveal password right. Use a credential entry instead of a data entry. You might not need to have 2 databases and you could merge your RDM and PVM data source.

Hi David,
See in attachment my configuration.
I don't understand when you right "entry instead of data entry"
Thanks, Stéphane

My question is more why use PVM when you can save the credential entry directly in RDM?
David Hervieux
In fact we've arround 3000 entries in RDM. So If we d'ont used PVM, is more difficult to exploit
Ok I understand. What type of entry do you have in PVM? Is a data entry or a credential entry?
David Hervieux
Both usually, 80% of credentials with different right throught PVM group and 20% of data like confidential info.
