is this possible with rdms
I would like to be able to have one data source but change the visibility of connections based on the user or a group. Is this possible or will it require making multiple datasources

you can do it in a single data source. You create security groups and assign user rights. You can hide sessions from users, but you can also make it so they see the session, can launch the session, but WITHOUT knowing the credentials being used.
