We installed WaykNow on the Macs with our employees, on site the authorization to control the Mac was activated under accessibility.
Is it also possible, since these Macs are in a different location, to grant authorization remotely?
Many thanks in advance.
So at the moment, if I installed WaykNow on-site but forgot the permissions, I can't control anything. The user on the Mac has no admin rights.
Unfortunately there is no programmatic method to grant privacy permissions on macOS. Permission must be granted interactively, by the user. All an application can do is prompt the user with the proper location in System Preferences.
This affects all applications that depend on privacy options. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
** note **
There is the possibility to manage the settings on behalf of the user if you are using macOS 10.14 or newer, and the machines are managed by a user-approved MDM - but that capability depends on the MDM vendor.
Thanks and kind regards,
