Disable browser load-animation

It would be nice to be able to disable the browser load-animations, as some webpages keep loading "something" and therefor the animations keeps going.

See attached screenshot:

1) Is my highest priority, as 10 browser tabs might show 10 animations.
2) Lower priority, but could be handle in the same way as 1)

Have I missed an existing setting for this?

I could imagine the following options:

  • Total disable (will never show)
  • Hide after x seconds activity (will show animation, but if it still running after for x seconds, hide it, but will show again, if new loading is started)
  • Always hide after x seconds (will show animation, but will hide it and only show again, next time the tab / webpage is opened)
This should be a global option but also controlled on individual entries.

Hello,

We will work on handling the loading icon better. These are some good suggestions. I'll let you know once we have something in the works.

Hello,

We've made some improvements to the loading icon in Chrome embedded. These should be available starting from RDM 2019.1.42.0. Once it's out, please let us know if it's better for you.

After making this change I haven't had problems with the loading icon staying there "permanently" (due to pages consistently loading).
