Browser plugin error

Since one of the recent updates the Chrome/Firefox browser extensions are both giving an error:

"Failed while sending request. Please verify if your RDM is open".

Any ideas/suggestions?

I have a few questions for you in order to give me a better idea of your what your environment looks like.

  • What version of RDM do you use?
  • What version of DWL do you use?
  • What type of data source do you use?
  • Do you use a custom port?
  • Is RDM open while you are attempting to use the extension with it?

Here's all the info:

  • RDM: 2019.1.25.0
  • DWL: 8.1.0.1
  • Data Source: Local Data File (SQLite)
  • Port: Have tried with default and custom, no change.
  • RDM Open: Yes.

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the browser extension?

Hi,

I had previously tried that, without success.

Tried it again, and the extensions are now working in both Firefox and Chrome.
