Mapping of control, alt/option and cmd on external/Apple/folio keyboards to Windows control/alt/Windows keys (or maybe even an arbitrary, user defined mapping scheme) would make working from an iOS device a lot more smooth.
I have moved your topic into the iOS feature request section and assigned it to our engineering department.
Although our various support queues will be monitored for emergencies, Devolutions' offices will be closed on Monday, May 20, 2019.
This feature has been added to our todo list.
A few key mapping improvements have been implemented and they should be part of the next release.
Please note that the Command key alone cannot be mapped. Only a combination of keys can be mapped with the Command key.
The following mappings have been added with the Command key:
- The Command key is mapped to the Windows Key. The Command Key + other key will send the Windows key + other key to the RDP session.
All keys can be forwarded except X and Y (they do not work).
- The Option key is mapped to the Alt key. So most of the key combinations will be forwarded. For example Option + X will send Alt + X.
Other keys that will work:
- Cap Locks
- Shift + Arrow (left, right, up, down)
Key that already work:
- CTRL + All keys
