Hello, I have been able to reproduce the issue and fix it quite easily. The reason why the folder are not listed is because they are virtual folders and do not exist in the database as an entry. Virtual folders can be created on the creation of an entry by manually enter a folder name that doesn't already exist. To fix this, please edit the unlisted folder, modify any properties and the save the folder. This should do the trick. Best regards,

Hi Grant, here you can find a description regarding the Virtual Folder feature (this links to the RDM help topic, but it's the same for PVM ) Regards, Min

No thats not working! If I edit a record in one of the records under a missing folders, it then shows up that folder in the lookup list when in that record, but not if in any records in other folders. The folder dropdown, and ... both need to be dynamic and show virtual folders
Not sure why there is dropdown and ... whats the difference???

Hello, Folders and Virtual folders are not handled the same way in RDM or PVM. If you select a folder that doesn't appear in your folder list and display the properties, do you see the following?

ok now I understand. Interesting. If I edit the folder name, it takes 2-3 minutes to refresh after saving the change which is way too long as I have 30-40 folders to edit. If I change any other fields (say enter "a" in login field which is irrelevant for a folder object) then the save time is 2 seconds I assume the diff is a physical change to the folder name forces an update of that folder name in all child records, whereas the other property changejust updates the folder object. thanks

Hello, You are understanding correctly how it works. Renaming a folder will update all children entries of this folder. The more entries it has, longer it will take. Best regards,
