I have tried this Setting. The DPS Server crashed. After Reboot the DPS instance could not start because of this setting.

Imediately upgrading the DPS Installation fixed the problem.

I recommend to implement your recomendations into RDM. A business Software should be aware about inter version compatiblities.

We have added a version compatibility check for this feature which should be there starting from the next version of RDM.
