Morning,

Been trying to connect to a W2K12 host without any luck.
I get the 131084 error. I can connect to other W2K12 hosts without any issues though
and I can connect with the normal RDP client. I've enabled logging.
See that attached file. Any one any idea?

Hi Hans,

I can see in your log that the Network Level Authentication is disabled. Is it possible that the remote host require it?

You can turn it on in your session settings under Microsoft Remote Desktop (RDP) -> Connection. The option is "Activate network level authentication NLA (SingleSignOn)".

Hi Hans,

I've spoken with our FreeRDP specialist and I'd still recommend trying with the NLA option enabled in your session. The option "Allow connections only from computers running Remote Desktop with Network Level Authentication (recommended)" could be overwritten by group policies. But, no matter what's the issue, NLA seems to be the cause.

The normal RDP client tries NLA when connecting, which could explain why it works for it but not in RDM.

If this works, I would say there is some issue with your configuration server side.
