Forum / Remote Desktop Manager Mac - Feature Request

Font setup on Mac

  • Create an Issue
  • Cancel

I'm using RDM Enterprise on my MacBook and experiencing problems with a font.
It's very difficult to focus on SSH Shell. Also, I can't change the font in ssh, I tried to change it many times, but no luck. I used RDM for Windows and everything was fine, fonts has proper size and style by default. It would be great, if we have option to set up appropriate font size and style globally for SSH/Telnet Shell on MacOS.

Hi,

Is there a specific font you have in mind?

We intend to add more customization with time, but I just want to be sure of your needs now. If we are to add custom font, we would probably only support monospaced font.

If it's only the size that is an issue, we should be able to bring this feature to you soon.

Hi Xavier,

Thanks for your response.

Size is also an issue for me. But font is the biggest problem. On mac it looks like a bold.
It's good, if it would be monospaced. But still, it would be better to have more fonts.

Hi,

This has been done and should be available in the next release.

As mentioned earlier, we only supports monospaced font for now.

You'll find the font option in the SSH Shell settings under the Terminal tab.
