Option to keep ribbon collapsed at launch

  • Create an Issue
  • Cancel

Greetings,
When using RDM, I typically collapse the ribbon bar to gain that little bit of extra space in my RDP session. This works great until I close and reopen the app, when the ribbon is uncollapsed. Typically I just collapse the ribbon again, but this doesn't work when I launch the app and I get the prompt if I'd like to reopen sessions that were open previously.

Could we have the option to keep the ribbon collapsed at launch if it was previously collapsed?

Thank you!

It's feasible. I'll add it as a feature request and tell you when it is done.

Hi,

It has been implemented and should be available on our next release.

How does one collapse the ribbon on the mac version?

Hi,

You can just click on the already selected tab.

I must be doing something wrong since the ribbon does not seem to collapse for me.

Hi,

If you click on the tab button of the already selected ribbon page, it does not collapse?

On which macOS version are you running RDM?

User error. (What!)
I was clicking the session tab and not the ribbon tab.
