Juniper Pulse Secure VPN support

Since 1 august 2015 the Juniper Junos Pulse VPN is end of life and now know as the Juniper Pulse Secure VPN.

source of info:

The application differs from the old one.
In RDM i see the Juniper Junos Pulse VPN support but this doesn't work with the Pulse Secure client.

RDM doesn't seem to connect to the VPN on start of the session.
If I manually connect, RDM does disconnect on the end of the session.
How is the connection made from RDM to the client? (Is this based on the server URL?)

I use Pulse Secure 5.1.5

Could you add support for this VPN?

Are you able to manually open the VPN outside RDM? For example with a command line?

Yes, that works.

I've used the following command:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Juniper Networks\Integration>pulselauncher.exe -u Bjorn -p 2020 -url -r Eid

It then tries to connect to the correct existing profile with the same server name.

I retried the RDM Pulse Secure with the same settings as de command line and now it also works ! smile
I saw in the command line an username and password is mandatory even it's not required as we login with an Eid card.

It seems like this problem is solved now. Thank you for the command line suggestion.

In addition we found that Pulse Secure command line doesn't support special chars in the username like for example the name 'Björn' .
Ticket has been entered with the Juniper Pulse Secure team for this.
