Password is not being passed to Microsoft RDP client using Open External

I am trying to get my remote desktop sessions to open externally on my Mac (through the Microsoft Remote Desktop app). The session opens fine, my domain / username is input but the password is not.

If I start the session any other way the password gets entered properly. Any idea's or thoughts?

Hello,

Unfortunately, the credentials cannot be sent to Microsoft RDP in external mode.

You can try the undocked mode like it's proposed in this topic

Only if one day Microsoft allows us to send the password in their command line.
