Offline Cache empty

Hello,

think since Version 1.5 the offline cache doesnt work.

Configured a SQL Database, if i am only everything works - if i close the app and disable wifi to simulate offline modus the connection list are empty.

It runs in the configured timeout (Refreshing connections - 60sec.) and after the message appears: The datasource is offline. The offline mode has been activated for the current datasource.

After click on the ok button the list are empty.

Offline Mode is configured to Read-only - Tested with Simple and Intelligent Chache Modus.

Thanks

Hi Min,

We were able to reproduce the problem. We were also able to make it work through a workaround.

We can reproduce the problem if :
There is only one data source or you have multiple data sources and the data source is set as the default data source.
If this is the case, the cache doesn't load properly.

Until the problem is fixed, here is a workaround:
If you only have one data source, create another empty one (ex: xml data source)
Set the newly created data source as the default data source.
The next time you open RDM, go to connections and switch your data source from XML to SQL.
The offline message should appear and you should see your connections in offline mode.

This problem has been added to our todo list.
