I don't know how to do.

I've installed RDM free right now, first time ever, and I'm trying to understand how to connect my computer with my university's computer for the thesis.
I'm able to connect the two computers with the "terminale" of my mac, but by the "terminale" I'm not able to find files on my university's computer, so I'm trying to learn to use RDM.
Now: how does it work?
From the terminal of my mac I used the command ssh -X -Y nome@ etc... where after the @ there's the address of my university's network.
From RDM what should I do?

Hi Davide,

First of all you need to create a SSH Shell entry. Click New Session on the dashboard and Select Ssh Shell.
SSH+Shell+Entry

Then enter a name for your session and then set your ip, user name and password in the Ssh Shell general tab
SSH+Shell+General

Last but not least go to the X11 Forwarding tab to enable it by checking the Enable X11 Forwarding box
SSH+X11+Forwarding

Tell me if that worked for you.

Thank you for the helping, really appreciated!

My graphic is so different, and I cannot find the X11 forwarding....
But all the rest is done.

Hi,

Could you send me a screen shot of your config screen (without your info in it) maybe I can understand why you can find X11 forwarding and why your graphics are different.

What do you mean by then? you want to know how to start the session?
