SmartCard Credentials

Is there any possibility of storing Smart Cards information in a Password Vault or data source for Windows RDP sessions so that you don't have to type in the PIN number or insert your Smart Card? How about configuring the Add-On's like SQL Server Management Studio so that it can run under the context of a Smart Card credential?

Hi,
As far as I know we don't know how to do that. I will let you know if we find a way.

I could live with the PIN prompt...but I am attempting to toy around where I setup a SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) session whereby I am logged onto a laptop with my regular Windows user context and want to launch SSMS under the user context that is associated with my Smart Card. I have created a shortcut on my desktop to do a "runas /smartcard" before the executable to prompt me for my PIN. I was hoping to emulate that somehow in RDM.

So for us it would only have to add the switch with a runas?
