URL handler that lists all sessions for given IP

Hi!

We're using Solarwinds NPM (Orion) platform to monitor a lot of our core network devices. Each device has a URL that can be entered for management, it would be very helpful if RDM URL Handler could have a way to show all ways to connect to that device.

For example a Switch might have SSH/Telnet/Web as connection options to it registered as three different devices in RDM or as one device with two subconnections. Clicking on the URL LINK from NPM or any other website would popup a dialog in RDM listing all possible ways to connect to that host and let the user select one of them. Or a Windows device that has HP ILO, HP Mgmt homepage and RDM and Teamviewer associated with it, same thing there, click a link on the webpage your coming from, get a list in RDM of all connection options and select how/what connection you want.

Does it make sense?

Hi,
I will enter a feature request for that. This would be a kind of prompt for the subconnection selection

Yes, as long as it also includes the main connection that the subconnections are listed on. Although it would be nice if it included all the nodes in the RDM DB that had that IP, instead of just relying on the first 'hit' with its subconnections.
