It would be nice if we could keep templates within a data source. That way, people who use RDM on multiple machines, as well as multiple users who use the same online data sources, could have access to the templates.

Hi, This is already possible, when you create a template, you can create a local template or create a shared template. It's the second button in the template toolbar.

My bad. I didn't realize that. In reading the online help, it says "The share templates are saved in the database". Does this mean the online database, and is available to all data sources on the same database? Or is there a way to only make it available to selected data sources?

Hi, It's saved in the current data source, including all our datasource type. It's saved one by one, this mean that you must recreate them if you select another data source

Excellent! Now all we need is a "convert local template to shared template" option. :-)
