First i must say i love your products and i am excited to use the password vault just as i was excited when using RDM for the first time but now my question is how do i get these to work seamlessly together. Would there be a chance to duplicate folder structures to mirror RDM to Password vault and share security groups? We have tried using Keepass2 integration but found it cumbersome and did not have the MSSQL storage capabilty or the user management which is priceless. We were tempted to use RDM as the password repository itself but we had more credentials then sessions so it was difficult to represent in RDM. This will be nice if you could down the road you could have a button in RDM that could instantly popup all the credentials that exist in that folder so the users would have all the logon sessions in RDM and if they needed a service credential that was not a logon user they could click a show me all credentials for this folder button. BAM they could right click the credential and store to clipboard. Tell me i am not dreaming.

Hi,
I'm not sure I understand exactly what you want but it's seems to fit with what we want to do.

First of all, you have to know that Password Vault Manager and Remote Desktop Manager share the same core and everything you can do in PVM can be done with RDM Enterprise. This mean that you can connect PVM and RDM on the same database.

So if I understand you want me to add a button or menu in the dashboard maybe called "Connect using Credential Entry"?

For the clipboard, you can view the credentials in the tree view and use the Copy to Clipboard functionality directly.

Now i see that password vault is just like Enterprise RDM. I had originally thought that Password vault ws going to add more password related features like password change history. Now i see they are very similar. We love Enterprise RDM but we found it weak in the password management options and that is why we tried using Keppass 2 integration but found that cumbersome to use for many sessions. I got excited thinking the Password Vault was going ot add more password management features to Enterprise RDM but now i see they are basically the same core product. I will have to wait until the password controls in Enterprise RDM are enhanced.

Hi,
You can try the latest beta version of RDM to get all the Password management feature from PVM 2.0. For the password history, this is something planned for the next major release. Our two products are very similar for sure. Let me know if you need anything else in PVM
