Could you please add the option to use profile(s) for the Nortel VPN Add-on, similar to the Cisco & Microsoft VPN Add-ons?
The Nortel VPN profile(s) are stored in filename: Baynet.tbk Located in the same directory as the Nvc.exe or Extranet.exe files.
Sample:
[Lab1] Description=Lab1 Dialup=(None) Username=jsmith UseTokens=0 TokenType=0 UsePAPGroup=0 GroupName= SavePassword=0 Server=10.10.10.10 primaryDNS= secondaryDNS= primaryWINS= secondaryWINS= domainName= DisableKeepalive=1 EnableSilentKeepalive=0 [Lab2] Description=Lab2 Dialup=(None) Username=jsmith UseTokens=0 TokenType=0 UsePAPGroup=0 GroupName= SavePassword=0 Server=10.10.10.11 primaryDNS= secondaryDNS= primaryWINS= secondaryWINS= domainName= DisableKeepalive=1 EnableSilentKeepalive=0
Cheers, thfs

Hi, Thank you very much for these information. We will certainly add this. André does most of the add-on and he is in vacation but I will forward him this post.

Hi,
I downloaded the latest version of the Nortel VPN (10.04.109) and the file Baynet.tbk doesn't exist. It's a file named NvcProfiles_U.dat that contains the profiles and it's located in the user's application data. I also see that to use a profile the parameter is -UserProfile instead of -Profile. Are you aware of that and what should I do please ?
Regards

We use Nortel VPN (V06_01.014) available here for your convenience: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=15X5G8KC
The command line parameter is: C:\Program Files\Nortel Networks\Extranet.exe -a "profile name"

André have updated the add-on. You must use the latest beta version. Let me know if this works

Hi,
Would you test this new version for me please. I don't have the necessary setting to do so. It should work well with Extranet.exe now.
Thanks!

It works for 'Profile A', but not 'Profile B' see examples below. When I use 'Profile B' I get the Password field, not the PIN & Token fields. It’s probably related to the 'UseTokens' line, if =0 then no token key is required, if =1 then a token key is required.
[Profile A] Description= Dialup=(None) Username=thfs UseTokens=0 TokenType=0 UsePAPGroup=0 GroupName= SavePassword=0 Server=10.10.10.10 primaryDNS= secondaryDNS= primaryWINS= secondaryWINS= domainName= DisableKeepalive=1 EnableSilentKeepalive=0
[Profile B] Description= Dialup=(None) Username=thfs UseTokens=1 TokenType=2 UsePAPGroup=0 GroupName=RSA SavePassword=0 Server=10.10.10.11 primaryDNS= secondaryDNS= primaryWINS= secondaryWINS= domainName= DisableKeepalive=0 EnableSilentKeepalive=0
Suggestions:
In my opinion, the 'Application' menu should be at the top and then the 'Profile' menu next. If Extranet is selected, the 'Profile' menu should search for a Baynet.tbk file. If Nvc (default) is selected, the 'Profile' menu should search for a Profiles.dat file. If a profile is selected, all fields should have the values populated by the profile file but greyed out.
Cheers, thfs

Hi, If I remember correctly the add-on was updated. What version of the add-on do you have?

My profiles no longer appear in the 'Profile' pull-down menu? Only 'Session settings' appears. FYI, I confirmed the 'Installation Path' under 'Options' was correct. FYI, I have the following selected 'Application: Extranet'
Could you also please consider the following suggestions, I made earlier:
